Loving kindness meditation (often called "Metta") is an amazing way to cultivate compassion, connection, curiosity and kindness for both ourselves, and others.
It requires no fancy training. It requires no religious beliefs. And unlike many other types of meditation or mindfulness techniques, in my experience, it offers up immediate benefits you can bring straight from the "cushion" and into the world. (in the way we'll be teaching this practice, you won't even need a cushion, or a "formal" meditation practice at all)
