All right, so you don't need a fancy website.
- What you need instead is a landing page. You need something designed specifically for conversion either email or purchase on the book up email opt-in or purchase.
- You don't need a publisher. What you need is to self-publish. Why? Wasting time trying to find a publisher in 2020 is time ill-spent. Self publish your book. You'll make more money. You'll have more control. And most importantly, you'll actually control your content, your creativity and your ability to get your inspired message out and into the world.
3. Commit to MORE than one. It does feel paradoxical. (if you're struggling to get your first one done) But when you commit to more than one, it actually frees you up to practice FINITE focus and tackle one small project at a time. You won't feel the need to cram everything, you know into your first book.
Lastly, You don't need a best-seller. As a matter of fact, writing a best seller these days is largely a worthless goal. This is a different conversation for a different time, but if you're series about building your brand, and 10Xing your audience, impact and income, the REAL value your book will have is in the experience you invite your reader to do once they've finished reading.
